I can't believe that school is almost out for the summer. We have decided to have a family contest to see who can get the fittest by playing Wii active everyday. Riley started two days ago, Abbey and I started today. Jon and Kyli will be starting soon. I hope to get to my goal weight by the second week in July. Pre-baby weight here I come. We also plan on cooking healthy with the help of some new cook books and by only buying healthy food, little sugar and no soda. Our new healthy lifestyle is going to be a challenge but a good life change we plan to have for the rest of our lives.

Tomorrow Jon is 34 years young. We don't have anything planned really but he does get to go on a golf trip as a gift from me for his birthday, I hope he has a lot of fun. What can I say about my darling husband; he is the smartest person I know, he is unbelievably handsome, he thinks he is funny and sometimes he really is, he is my best friend and I couldn't imagine life without him. Jon you are my rock and my wings when I am not too afraid to fly, you are always my biggest supporter and support. My love for you grows everyday (even when you irritate me). You help me sees things in a different light and help me understand what somethings mean. You are my favorite everything. Thanks for your patience, understanding and unconditional love. Love you, Always and Forever, Ang

This weekend was long and crazy. Jon and Riley went to father and sons camp out with the stake. When they got home on Saturday we all went to the Church to clean it with the Smiths. Riley started to feel sick and spent a lot of time in and out of the bathroom, he quickly recovered and Jon and I went to see (Angels and Demons) which was great. At 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, Abbey woke us up with intense lower abdominal pain. We were worried about appendicitis, so Jon took her to Primary Children's Hospital. They were there from 4:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., luckily it was not an appendicitis, just the stomach flu. Abbey is still recovering but doing well. Kyli for once only had minor injuries from a fall to the ground, where the ground won and took a chunk from her elbow. Kyli is usually the one to be rushed to insta-care or the doctors for something or the other, she really needs stronger bones and to watch out for walls and furniture. Thankfully we all made it through the weekend and can now focus on the week ahead.

I used to feel like a freak because I am so different than everyone else. Now I feel joyful because I see things totally different and am a very emotionally based person. I feel things deeply, some would say I am very sensitive and it is true I am. I used to worry what other people thought of me, not anymore. My biggest fear was hurting someones feelings and losing my family. Now I feel that if I am in tune with me and am true to who I am supposed to be everything will work out in the end. I know that everyone gets hurt, it is part of life and I don't have to live in anxiety about it. I love my life with my husband and kids, that is the most important thing and anything else is a bonus. It used to frustrate me that people didn't understand the things, I was trying to say, it felt like I was speaking another language and in essence I was. I know that Jon understands me most of the time and so does my kids and they are really the only ones that matter. Life is to short to worry about others outside of my family and how I am perceived, I hope my extended family and friends care enough about me to see past our differences and if not oh well. Heavenly Father knows who I am and that I have a lot of love inside me and that I try real hard to show it and since Jon and the kids know that too, I am set.

I was just thinking how sad it is that most people now days are closed off and live in judgement of people, politics and religion. If we all just searched diligently and with an open heart we would be kinder, more loving and open to others and the differences we all have. If we don't know about something, we shouldn't assume things, we should ask questions and find the answers. I know every religion has things in them that are sacred and not talked about openly, in essence that is showing respect, there are places all over the world that not everyone has access to, it doesn't mean you aren't worthy, just not in a space of understanding and when you finally do understand you will be received with open arms. Being of the LDS faith has shown me how to really love and how to be open and embrace the differences in others. The things I don't understand (and there are many), I try and accept anyway because that is what Heavenly Father would want me to do. I find it sad that people label the LDS church in a negative way, every church and every political avenue have negative people in them but that doesn't mean they are the church or political group. Every organization will have a few bad seeds because people are fallible and make mistakes. I tell my children that we are not our mistakes and if we repent and make restitution we will be forgiven and that sometimes the only thing required is an apology. Having a loving and supportive pillar of support is critical for a well balanced and open minded person to thrive and I believe with all my heart that the LDS church is the one for me and my family. I hope everyone can find their pillar and hold on tight because this world is changing fast and we will all need our pillars for strength.

Kyli and Abbey have a dance recital on Saturday. We are very excited and proud of them. Riley and Abbey are having a blast with baseball and softball. They are both getting better each time they play. The month of May is very busy and a little stressful. I hope I make it through without exploding. I hope I get some good pictures of the girls on Saturday.
